Good news ▏OSTS won the highest honorary award of China Civil Engineering"Zhan Tianyou" award

Recently, the Crested Ibis Protection Project of Xicheng High Speed Railway won the 18th "China Civil Engineering Zhan Tianyou Award", which was implemented by Sichuan OST Slope Protection Engineering Co., Ltd under the supervision of China Railway No.5 Engineering Group Co., Ltd.


"Zhan Tianyou Award" was established in 1999, and the full name is "China Civil Engineering Zhan Tianyou Award". It is the highest honorary award of China Civil Engineering Field.

"Xicheng High Speed Railway" is also called Xicheng Passenger lines, which crosses the Guanzhong Plain, Qinling Mountains and Hanzhong Plain from north to south and enters the Sichuan Basin. It is the first high-speed railway in China to cross the Qinling Mountains. Passing through the Crested Ibis National Nature Reserve, the single line length in the Reserve area reaches 33,014.62 meters and the construction area is about 130,000 square meters.


The project construction started at the beginning of March 2017, and was completed on June 10, 2017. During construction, under the unfavourable conditions of tight schedule, heavy workload and high requirements, OSTS worked hard day and night for more than 100 days, actively cooperated with Xicheng project department of China Railway No.5 Engineering Group Co. Ltd, and strictly followed the project plan, we have completed the installation of the Crested Ibis protective measures, which ensured the safety of train operation, and also ensured the safety of the Crested Ibis, and received praise and acknowledgement from Xicheng project department of China Railway No.5 Engineering Group Co. Ltd.


We have accumulated rich construction experience and established an excellent brand image by completing this project, which is considered as an example and reference for birds and animals protection projects in China.
