Flexible protection net for debris flow is a new protection product developed for debris flow disasters in mountain area, which is able to intercept debris flow within designed range and minimize debris flow risk and secondary hazard.

Working principle:

Flexible protection net for debris flow supports the metal net by steel columns and upper and lower support ropes, which is set at inter-mountain river channels or low-lying areas where debris flows have occurred. When debris flow impacts the flexible protection net, mud stone therein will be intercepted by metal net while water will flow through the mesh opening of the metal net. The metal net can provide certain deformation space to accumulate mud stone and transmit the energy of mud stone to energy-dissipating ring through support rope, and the residual energy will be absorbed by anchor device, thus successfully intercepting the debris flow.
