On December 8th, The National Geological Disaster Prevention and Control Symposium was successfully held in Changsha, Hunan Province. The meeting was jointly sponsored by China Geological Disaster Prevention Engineering Industry Association and China Geological Environment Testing Institute, and nearly 1200 people were invited.

Focusing on the theme of "Promoting interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary integration, and improving the scientific and technological capability of disaster prevention and mitigation", the symposium aims to promote the exchange and application of new technologies, equipment and standards for geological disaster prevention and control, strengthen interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary integration and cooperation in geological disaster prevention and control, build a "Civil Defense + technical defense" mode of geological disaster prevention and control, and improve the scientific and technological ability and level of geological disaster prevention and control.

Yue Chao,made a keynote exchange speech on the theme of "Active energy dissipation and protection system for high-altitude geological disasters" at the symposium, elaborated from the company's scientific research background, high-altitude geological disaster active energy dissipation system and high-level geological disaster survey and design means, and shared with the audience at the symposium the company's achievements of science and technology and scientific research in recent years.      

On December 9th, OST went to Shenzhen to participate in the "The 14th (2020) Road Construction and Maintenance Technology Forum" sponsored by the Highway Science Research Institute of the Ministry of transport and the Road Engineering Branch of China Highway and Transportation Society. More than 600 senior experts and industry representatives from domestic road construction, maintenance, management, design, construction, scientific research and other fields were invited to the Forum. At the Forum, LV Hanchuan, chairman of OST delivered a theme report on "innovation and application of flexible protection technology", and made a profound interpretation of the new standard "slope flexible protection network system (JT / t1328-2020)" jointly formulated and promoted by National Railway Administration of the People's Republic of China and National Highway Administration of the People's Republic of China since November 2020.
