OST-INDIA attended India Geotechnical Conference 2017 (short for IGC 2017) from December 14^th – 16^th, in Guwahati, India.

India Geotechnical Conference, held annually, is one of the most significant conferences in the field of geological engineering in India. This conference, based on the theme “Geotechnics for Natural and Engineered Sustainable Technologies”, was held in India Geotechnical Society Guwahati and attracted numerous experts and companies. 

The conference included sessions of exhibition and academic exchanges.

In the exhibitions, OST showed our rock fall protection and slope stabilization products including GPS-H series, GPS-2 series, 3-D reinforced erosion control mat and flexible steel-structured shed tunnel model. The potential customers showed interests to the products displayed and were impressed by our efforts in the slope protection filed over 10 years. 

During the academic exchanges, numerous professors and experts from geotechnical field delivered speeches and had deep discussions about the development trend of this field.
