The 10th National Engineering Geological Conference was held in Chengdu at Jinniu Hotel from October 15, 2016 to October 18, 2016. As the first brand in slope protection industry, OST fully participated in this event. 

At the conference, nearly 1300 experts from home and abroad discussed and carried out research based on the principle “the Belt and Road, involving the major theories, problems, education and development of engineering geology in aspects of traffic,energy, ocean and city, etc.. They all offered suggestions for the construction of more powerful and beautiful country 

OST attached great importance to this conference, not only participated in the academic exchange on geological disaster risk assessment and pevention, but also carefully arranged the booth, showing the comprehensive flexible protection solution plan of slope protection, broadcasting the corporate video and impact test videos. Our booth attracted a lot of participants and they all paid utmost attention to our new products - flexible steel structure shed tunnel and curtain-type protection net.

Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences Wang Sijing visited the booth of OST and made inquiries about OST’s new products.

The 4th Cross-Straits Integrated Seminar on Civil and Disaster Prevention was held in Xi’an from October 19, 2016 to October 20, 2016. OST was invited to give the speech– the Flexible Protection Engineering Design Technology System, which fully introduced the system of flexibe protection engineering design technology and OST’s new protection products.

Focused on the theme of “Challenges of Modern Tunnel Engineering”,this conference carried out research on the advanced idea and design of deep seated long tunnel, the progressive construction technology of subway, urban underground space, underground tunnel, and the technology of tunnel engineering environmental protection and disaster prevention and relief, aiming to promote the planning, design, construction, operation and management of tunnel and underground engineering, futher exchange the engineering experience and achievement.    

OST carefully prepared and participated in the academic exchange of the two topics:the environmental protection and disaster prevention and relief technology of tunnel engineering; the advanced idea and design of deep seated long tunnel. OST made academic reports named Research on Rockfall Protection Technology for Tunnel and New Technologies, New Standards and New Products of Flexible Protection. 

At the same time, OST also arranged a booth to show the company’s new products eg. easily-repaired passive protection nets, new flexible steel structure shed tunnel, high-precision aerial photography drone, 3D laser scanners and other advanced surveying equipment.
